We had the pleasure of talking with Toronto artist Susy Oliveira about her latest work Concave Head (Have Everything and Die), featured in Kitchener’s City Hall. In this interview, she talks about how she first became involved with the CAFKA biennial and her sculptural method.
In the second part of our interview, Susy talks about how her piece relates to the biennial’s theme of “Veracity”, the resemblance of her sculpture to Jesus, and the subscript to her work.
